My father is Glenn McGhie, Sr. (b. 25 Jul 1918), who was preceded by Jesse Earl McGhie (b. 8 Oct 1890), James McGhie, Jr. (b. 24 Mar 1864), James McGhie, Sr. (1 Dec 1834), Richard McGhie (b. 1805), James McGhie, Jr. (b. 1779), and James McGhie, Sr. (b. 1754).

James McGhie, Sr. (b. 1834) came over to the United States in 1861 with his wife, Isabella Lindsay. My line includes the following surnames: Leeper, Lindsay, Campbell, Wagstaff, Neff, Fisher, Emerson, Jensen, and even Barlow.
